Un spectacle en trois mouvements, pour deux artistes et une musique mécanique, aux fins de transformer la contrainte en poésie
ICI.
Jérôme Thomas, juggler, and Markus Schmid, mime, had had this project in mind for a very long time, and since their encounter in 2001 never ceased to create occasions to meet and work together.
« ICI. » is mixing mime, objects manipulation, mechanical music and plastic arts with the arrival of Pierre Bastien in the team.
« ICI. » takes its inspiration in various experiences the artists had had working with prisonners in jail. The result should be a poetical gestual theater, emphasizing perpetual constraints of body and mind and in the same time, ways of liberation.
A very particular and inspiring experience, by a trio of outstanding artists.
